Install the hub
choose a central location in the home where the resident spends most of their time during waking hours when at home. Most often this will be the kitchen or living room.
Sofihub should be located in a position such a bench or table top where the speaker will be able to be heard.
Plug the Sofihub into the power supply and turn on so that the red light on the rocker switch is elevated and on.

- Shelf not used for other purposes
- For Webster Packs etc you may place the sensor in a small box and keep the pack on top of the box.
Hub Room Sensor. located in the room that the hub is located in.
- Standard installation: an ideal location is the ceiling, positioned to capture all activity in the room.
- For homes with pets; the sensor will require a sensor cover and should be positioned on a wall above pet level using the sensor cover to block activity below.
Hub Room Exit Sensor - Detects that you have exited the hub location.
Standard installation: The sensor can be placed either on the ceiling or on a wall. Its purpose is to capture the exit activity from the hub room.
You may choose to use a cover that reduces the sensor capture area.
